Journey to the Cosmic Soul album release show on April 17th at Waterhole Music Lounge features music from the double LP album, produced and arranged in three phases named after each celestial body that align during an eclipse: the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon. Each of these phases is also an exploration of a different aspect of being: Sun = Mind, Earth = Body, Moon = Soul. This concept is used to guide our journey through the musical universe we call “Cosmic Soul"; one of infinite creativity and imagination. 

Lady Moon & The Eclipse is a multicultural six-piece band based in New York. Through soaring vocal textures and R&B/afrobeat-influenced rhythms, their music sheds light on social issues and solutions. With a marked emphasis on inclusivity and spiritual unity, Lady Moon & The Eclipse explores solutions through a unique tapestry of celestial perspectives. Led by Ngonda Badila, aka Lady Moon, the band has toured extensively via their seven “Eclipse Season Tours” spanning the Northeast and South, opening for such names as Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Amanda Palmer, Maxi Priest, and Tank & the Bangas along the way.
