Take your old-school organ trio, add dance-heavy grooves and adventurous jamming, and shake vigorously. Enjoy all night long.
“An incredibly hot new Buffalo band” – Jeff Miers, The Buffalo News
Band members Joe Bellanti (organ and keyboards), Corey Kertzie (drums and percussion) and Dave Ruch (guitar) have individually played with Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), Robby Krieger (The Doors), Nels Cline (Wilco), bluegrass legend Tony Rice, Tony Franklin (The Firm, Quiet Riot), Oteil Burbridge (The Allman Brothers, Dead and Company) and more, but it all started in a Williamsville NY basement in the early 1980’s as part of seminal Buffalo jam band Wild Knights.
They spent decades performing the music of the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, Neil Young, The Band and more in Buffalo cover bands before finally taking a stab at writing their own music together just a few years ago.
The band’s debut gig fell just four weeks before COVID shutdowns! But the response was immediate, with major festival, drive-in series and club bookings after that very first show.
Organ Fairchild’s debut single “Seepin’” is out on all major streaming services, with the second single “Cherry Tomatoes” to be released July 14 ahead of a September 2021 full-length recording, mastered by Alan Evans of the band Soulive.
“Three long-time veterans of the jam band scene” – Grateful Web
