Experimental soul-fused funk/jazz collaborative, the English Project is a group of inspired musical voices within the Northeast contemporary music scene. Seeking the unity between analog and progressive sounds with pocket feels, the group takes inspiration from the landscape of past and present improvisation and groove music, translating that into an array of improvised and composed instrumental and vocal music with sonic appeal. Comprised of a core of respected musicians from New York's Upstate region consisting of: Chris English (drums/vocals), Andres Rivera (bass), Paul McArdle (guitar), Dave Solazzo (keyboards), The English Project is excited to coalesce in this spirit as they desire to bring their inspiration and fresh musical ideas into the future. The group will be releasing their new EP in the Spring of 2017.
